I started writing this post back in February - and it's been sitting in my draft box since. It's so worth reading that I may republish it every month - given my small and disturbed following ;)
It's as relevant now as it was the day the president of my alma mater wrote it. Anid while I'm horrified that KAC attended the same college I graduated from, Pat Maguire made me proud of my school - prouder than I thought possible. And she took some amount of shit from alumni for it - to be fair, she was praised as well. There was discussion among the alumni about how to recognize Conway's "achievement." Maguire did so brilliantly
The issue that faces our country is not about red or blue, Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative, white or any other skin color, rich or poor - it's how we deal with facts, how we recognize what is true and how we stop the delusion that has swept my country.
I don't know what can be done about it - but when I do, you'll be the first to know.
